TRANSLATION QUALITY OF IMPERATIVE SENTENCE CONTAINING VALUES IN THE PRODUCTIVE MUSLIM: WHERE FAITH MEETS PRODUCTIVITY

The rise of start-ups has led to toxic productivity among employees. Toxic productivity is an unhealthy desire to be productive all the time until ignoring their physical and spiritual needs. To prevent it, employees must educate themselves how to be productive in healthy way and one of which is read relevant books, such as The Productive Muslim: Where Faith Meets. This descriptive qualitative research aims to identify types of imperative sentence containing values in Productive Muslim: Where Faith Meets Productivity, types of values contained in those imperative sentences, and to assess the translation quality of the sentence based on the accuracy and acceptability aspect. The data were collected through content analysis and focus group discussion. The research found 315 imperative sentence containing values and classified into seven types, i.e. directive with 253 data (80%), prohibition with 27 data (9%), request with 14 data (4%), invitation with 9 data (3%), let-imperative with 5 data (2%), hope with 4 data (1%) and, warning with 3 data (1%). The values contained in them are spiritual with 170 data (53.97%), vital with 90 data (28.57%), and material with 55 data (17.46%). In terms of translation quality, the accuracy gains score 2.84 and acceptability 2.78. The scores show that majority of the imperative sentences are translated accurately and acceptably although there are still some translations that are less accurate & inaccurate, and some words translated using technical terms that are uncommon. In addition, a few grammar mistakes occurred so that the translations do not feel natural.
