Abstrak
This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to provide a systematic and accurate description of the shifts that occur in noun phrases of subtitle of the Archon Quest Fontaine Act V subtitle, which is available in the game Genshin Impact, along with translation techniques and translation quality (accuracy). The data collection techniques used were content analysis and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). In this study, 102 data were collected. This study only focuses on category shifts, three of the four category shifts found in this research, the dominant shifts found were structure shifts 72.54%, unit shifts 21.58%, and intra-system shifts 5.88%. There are nine out of twelve translation techniques discovered; the literal translation 30,39%, the borrowing translation 23.52%, the discursive creation technique 20.58%, the establish equivalent technique 9.80%, the reduction technique 7.84%, the description technique 3.92%, the adaptation technique 1.96%, the modulation technique 0.98% and the linguistic amplification was found in one (1) out of 102 data, accounting for 0.98%. Overall, the translation results for the Archon Quest Fontaine Act V subtitles produce an accurate translation with an accuracy value of 2.57.
