Abstrak
Increasing the efficiency of electrical energy usage has become a top priority in the management of modern electrical systems. One important step in achieving this efficiency is by installing power meters on low voltage distribution panels. Power meters are used to monitor and record electrical power consumption in real-time, facilitating the analysis and management of electrical loads. This study aims to examine the installation process and benefits of using power meters on low voltage distribution panels in an industrial facility. The methodology includes needs analysis, technical planning, installation, and system testing by comparing with a Power Quality Analyzer (PQA). The results of the current comparison show that the highest percentage difference occurs in phases R and S, with 24%, while the lowest percentage difference is in phase S, with 0%. Voltage comparison results in phases R, S, and T indicate a percentage difference of less than 1%. Based on the voltage readings, the measurements from the power meter align with those from the PQA; however, there is a discrepancy in the current readings. This difference in readings is likely due to calibration discrepancies between the PQA and the power meter.
