DETERMINANT OF STOCK PRICE INFRASTRUCTURE COMPANIES: EVIDENCE FROM INDONESIA

Stock prices can change dramatically in a short period of time. Investors put money in the market. Investment requires careful consideration. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the debt-to-equity ratio, current ratio, earnings per share, exchange rate, and inflation on infrastructure stock prices. The data collection method used is purposive sampling. Data for infrastructure sector companies was collected based on data availability for the last five years, as well as exchange rate and inflation data from Bank Indonesia. The SPSS programme was used to analyse the data. The findings show that the current ratio and earnings per share have an impact on infrastructure stock prices. In contrast, the debt-to-equity ratio, exchange rate, and inflation have no effect on infrastructure stock prices. The findings may help investors, decision-makers, and market participants gain a better understanding of the specific factors that may affect infrastructure stock prices.
