Abstrak

The depth length affected the tensile's and bond’s strengths between the anchor steel material and the concrete. This research is conducted to obtain maximum axial force and optimum anchor’s depth from the variation of concrete’s. Anchors are modeled as rod types with its diameter. The depths are used 5D, 10D, and 15D, while the strength of concrete used ranges from 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 MPa. This research utilized an ANSYS Workbench 19.2 program that based on finite elements. From the obtained results, the maximum axial force for all concrete strengths is the anchor with a depth of 15D with the values at the quality of 20 MPa. 30 MPa, 40 MPa, 50MPa, and 60 MPa respectively are 27,011 kN, 53,536 kN, 68,657 kN, 68,970 kN, and 84,407 kN. The obtained pattern of failure is firstly the failure of the concrete’s cone, then the failure of steel that occured in all concrete’s strengths.This research used some non-parametric tests. The Kruskal Wallis’ test showed the chi-square score for 20, 40, 50, and 60 MPa is 9.486 and the score is 9.881 for 30 MPa. The hypothesis testing used U-Mann Whitney test that gave a significant score below 0.05. Thus, it can be stated that the maximum tensile force is significantly affected by the depth’s length and 15D is the optimum depth value for all concrete strenghts.
