EMPLOYEE REIMBURSE MANAGEMENT PROCEDURES IN THE FINANCE DIVISION OF PT. KALIMANTAN SANGGAR PUSAKAAGRO

PT. Kalimantan Sanggar Pusaka Agro (PT KSP Agro) operates in the agribusiness sector, specifically in palm oil cultivation and production, a strategic industry contributing significantly to Indonesia’s economy through job creation, foreign exchange, and raw material supply for domestic and export markets. The Finance Division plays a pivotal role in ensuring structured, transparent, and efficient financial governance to support the company’s large-scale and geographically dispersed operations. A key function of this division is managing employee reimbursement, a process involving the submission of claims, verification of supporting documents, and fund disbursement to cover operational expenses incurred by employees.
However, the reimbursement process faces challenges, including employees’ limited understanding of procedures, incomplete documentation, and delays in approval and disbursement. These issues risk undermining operational efficiency and the accuracy of financial records. This study, conducted during an internship at PT KSP Agro’s Finance Division, evaluates the current reimbursement procedure, drawing on firsthand observations of claim processing, document verification, and transaction recording. The analysis identifies operational bottlenecks and proposes constructive recommendations to enhance efficiency and accountability. By addressing these challenges, the study aims to strengthen financial governance and support the company’s commitment to transparency and employee welfare.
