This study aims to identify the types of noun phrases containing legal terms int he most-read news articles on the Judicial Commission website from January2024 to January 2025. This study also analyzes the translation techniques used and evaluates the acceptability of the translation results. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method to identify the types of noun phrases, translation techniques, and translation quality. Data collection was conducted by accessing the most widely read news articles, then sampling noun phrases containing legal terms. These phrases were classified based on Widjono's theory (2007), analyzed using Molina and Albir's theory (2002), and evaluated for acceptability by raters through the Focus Group Discussion method. The results of the study show that the most dominant type of noun phrase is the modifying noun phrase, with 97 data points (91%) of 106 noun phrases. The most commonly used translation technique is literal translation, with 56 data points (53%). The translation acceptability score averaged 2.48, indicating that the translations generally used words that were well accepted by the target readers.
